Day-by-day Safari Itinerary
Day 1: Nairobi
Arrive at JKIA airport and are received by Diwaka Safari representative and transferred to your Nairobi Hotel. The reminder of the day at leisure.
Overnight at your hotel
Day 2: Nairobi - Samburu
Early breakfast at the Hotel and commence drive via Karatina, crossing the equator at Nanyuki, to the Northern frontier district via Isiolo, to Samburu National Reserve.
Dinner and overnight at your hotel
Day 3: SAMBURU FULL DAY
After breakfast embark on a Morning and afternoon game drives. Here the Ewaso Nyiro River supports a wide variety of game among them Elephants, Buffaloes, Cheetahs, Leopards, Lions, Grevy’s Zebras, Reticulated Giraffes, Long necked Gerenuk and the Oryx.

Day 4: SAMBURU - OL PEJETA
After breakfast at the lodge, you will drive to Ol Pejeta conservancy. You have the option of visiting the Chimpanzee Sanctuary before continuing on your afternoon game drive.

Day 5: OL PEJETA - NAKURU
Breakfast at the Lodge, depart for the Rift Valley passing via Nyahururu with a brief stopover to catch a glimpse of the Thompson Falls, the highest waterfall in Kenya. Arrive in Nakuru in time for lunch at a Lodge in Lake Nakuru National Park. Late afternoon game viewing & bird watching drive.

Day 6: NAKURU - MASAI MARA
After breakfast, commence drive south via Narok to the Masai Mara National Reserve to arrive for lunch at the Lodge or Camp. Late afternoon game viewing drive.

Day 7: MASAI MARA
After early morning breakfast, head out for game viewing with lunch at the Lodge. In the afternoon, visit a traditional Maasai village a kilometer away from the camp, situated in the middle of the Mara, constructed with natural materials from the orange - leafed croton shrubs, which will give you an experience you have always longed to have. Here you have a chance to interact with people who have maintained their unique cultural ways of life for many decades. Tall and elegant with narrowly plaited hair painted in red ochre, the village warriors (Moran) performing cultural dances thrilling to the bottom of the heart, leaving you with lasting memories to take home. Return to your camp with a game drive en-route.

Day 8: DEPARTURE
After breakfast at the Lodge/Camp, enjoy a game drive enroute as you embark on your return journey to Nairobi for your onward flight home.
